The Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center in collaboration with Healthy Acadia and Maine SNAP-Ed hosts a virtual monthly cooking demonstration and discussion with SNAP-Ed Nutrition Educator Jada Wensman beginning Thursday, September 17. 10 Tips is a 4-session series to inspire healthy cooking and eating! Each 1-hr lesson will include a live recipe demonstration, nutrition tips, and conversation to share ideas for a better diet focused on whole grains, fruits and vegetables, lean protein, and healthy fats.

 

Jada Wensman is the Maine SNAP-Ed Nutrition Educator for Hancock County. She provides coordination for nutrition education and obesity prevention initiatives in accordance with USDA SNAP-Ed guidelines. Jada sustains and develops collaborative partnerships with diverse community entities to assist in the improvement of physical activity and nutrition education policies and practices.
