21st Annual Beth C. Wright Walk For Life

The 21st Annual Beth C. Wright Walk For Life will be taking place on Saturday, August 28, 2021. The traditional May date has been moved and we've added new activities!

This year we have added a 5K road race, a craft fair, and games for all members of the family to the Walk. The day will also feature opening ceremonies, the 1-, 2- or 5-mile walk, the Chinese auction, the lobster raffle, an awards luncheon, a pie auction, and entertainment.

Saturday, August 28, 2021 will be a day full of fun, fellowship, and wellness raising money for a very good cause. All proceeds from the Walk will go directly to the Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center to assist them in carrying out their mission of bringing support, services, and guidance to those in our communities in Washington and Hancock Counties affected by cancer.

We offer several options if you’d like to fundraise or want to donate. First, we encourage you to form a team, get pledges and raise as much as you can. We are asking all Walkers to raise as much as they can. All Walker/Runners will get a free 2021 WALK FOR LIFE T-shirt with a donation of $25.00 or more.

You can create your own personal website on the Beth C. Wright Walk For Life page. You can upload your photo or a graphic, a bit about yourself and why you are joining in this year. From your site, you can send out emails asking family, friends, co-workers to join your team and/or donate. Cast your net wide and you can really make a difference!

The first thing you must do is register, it's free, and then in your confirmation email there will be a link to click to begin your peer-to-peer fundraising website!
