The Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center in collaboration with Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County, welcomes back music therapist Carla Tanguay, MA, MT-BC, Board Certified Music Therapist, Educator to lead a workshop for caregivers in practical ways to incorporate music into daily routines and how to assist with caregiving challenges. Carla will cover the use of music in meeting physical and cognitive challenges, as well as providing emotional support.
This free workshop is designed especially for anyone caring for someone with any serious illness or someone nearing the end of life. It may also appeal to any individual who may be interested in the benefits of music therapy. For more information or to register please call 664-0339.
