19th Annual Beth C. Wright Walk For Life

The date is set, Saturday, May 18, 2019 for the 19th Annual Beth C. Wright WALK FOR LIFE. This year in addition to the Walk in Addison on May 18th there will also be a new Walk in Ellsworth that will take place in conjunction with the Pink Tulip Project and the Ellsworth Garden Club Plant sale.

It promises to be a memorable day in Addison for the whole family because our events will include: 

• 1- 2- or 5-mile walk
• a BBQ lunch
• face painting
• Chinese auction
• Lobster raffle
• Pie auction
• Entertainment and much more!

In Ellsworth, the Walk will start at the Donald Little Park on State Street and go to the Shore Road and back. There will be:

• Food
• Entertainment
• A chance to support the Plant Sale and Pink Tulip Project - two great causes.

We are encouraging people to form teams of at least five people, and we will give special recognition to each team raising $500 or more by including the team name on the back of our Walk For Life T-shirt.

Please sign your team up by May 4 to get your team name on the T-shirt.

The annual WALK FOR LIFE brings together people of all ages from Hancock and Washington Counties who believe that the free programs and services offered by the Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center are vitally needed. All donations will have an immediate impact and will be used locally in Hancock and Washington Counties.

Walkers are key to making the WALK FOR LIFE a success, please join us. We look forward to seeing you on May 18, 2019.
